Established in 1904, AAG is a nonprofit scientific educational organization that has contributed to the advancement of geographical scholarship over the past century through various publications, exhibitions, and annual conferences. This year's conference attracted over 6,500 attendees and featured more than 1,200 presentations covering over 4,500 topics.
On April 20, our student Yi-Chan Tseng participated in the session "Hazards, Risks, and Disasters Forum - Resilience and Adaptation" (HRDSG Resilience and Adaptation), which included five presenters and was chaired by Dr. Katie P. Bernhard. Yi-Chan Tseng presented the research titled "Constructing trans-tribal resilience through localized disaster risk reduction education in Taiwan." Special thanks to Dr. Pei-Shan Sonia Lin for her guidance and assistance, which facilitated the successful presentation of our student's research on the international session.
