Research and Teaching
In order to strengthen our role in disaster prevention teaching, research, policy, and social services, and to provide better disaster prevention and relief decision makers for the country, we support the government in promoting disaster prevention and relief affairs with a solid scientific foundation.
We continue to strengthen the diversity of the Institute's curriculum and problem-solving-oriented courses. We also continue to improve the teaching facilities. In addition to supporting the faculty members to apply for academic grants from the National Science and Technology Council, we will also continue to encourage the faculty and students to participate in academic cenference between the University and international research institutions. In terms of expanding our services to the government, we will continue to support faculty and students to participate in government-sponsored disaster prevention research and practical projects, and support faculty to assist government departments with disaster prevention-related surveys, reviews, and expert consultations.
