The Institute is an institution of higher learning for disaster prevention and rescue professionals. Future graduates are likely to play critical role to implement government’s disaster prevention and relief policies, and therefore have the obligation to cooperate with the social mission given by the Disaster Prevention and Relief Act. Our graduates can take public examinations to carry government service as firefighters for disaster prevention and relief operations, and as personnel in local disaster prevention and relief offices at the central and county levels. Besides, private organizations such as corporations and NGOs, where there is a high demand for disaster management master's degree personnel. Graduate institute of Disaster Management, central Police University will continue to grow and develop with the times and provide sustainable management on the three levels of teaching, research, and service, with the core values of cultivating excellent disaster prevention personnel, conducting disaster research, and providing appropriate disaster prevention policy consultation.
