After graduating from the Police University, Dr. Chang studied graduate school in Fire Service Administration and Ph.D. in Disaster Science & Management in the United States. He currently holds the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Safety and Emergency Services Management at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
It's our honor to invite Dr. Chang before the Dragon Boat Festival. During his presentation, he shared his research in emergency management, including the Incident Command System (ICS), climate change-induced sea-level rise, and the increasing significance of AI (Artificial Intelligence) which showed that emergency management could widely apply to other academic fields.
Following the speech, Dr. Chang and students had a casual but highly valuable conversation on the conference catering. We are truly appreciated to have Dr. Chang back to school to deliver the speech.
