Faculty and Students of our department were Invited to Participate in Cross-Agency Coordination Drill by the National Fire Agency, Ministry of the Interior.

To enhance cross-agency coordination and response capabilities during disasters, National Fire Agency, the Ministry of the Interior conducted a cross-agency collaborative exercise from November 6 to 17. The exercise brought together personnel from various response systems, including rescue and emergency medical teams, and provided training of seed instructors. In addition to drawing on the experiences of advanced nations, the National Fire Agency also invited faculty from our department to observe the exercise and offer suggestions.
The first week of training involved indoor sessions covering topics such as emergency medical response and the use of drones. In the second week, participants engaged in unscripted and unannounced practical drill. In these drills, instructors presented random scenarios to train participants in critical thinking and response capabilities. Our department's faculty and students observed the exercises, identified issues, and provided suggestions during review meetings. The National Fire Agency expressed gratitude for our participation and highly praised the faculty for offering theoretically grounded practical recommendations during the debriefing session.
